The 10th International Helvetia U16 Cup takes place in Lugano from August 1-4 and will see the Reds’ youngsters go up against sides from across the world.
Football is More (FIM) Foundation’s inaugural Special Needs European Cup will be integrated into the U16s tournament, with matches taking place simultaneously.
A total of 120 young people with disabilities - representing Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Manchester City, Chelsea and more - will compete to lift the first-ever Special Needs European trophy.
The teams will also be given the opportunity to enjoy new and memorable experiences including participation in the opening parade, an inclusion game with young people from Ticino, and the chance to impress scouts from top professional clubs.
