Liverpool supporters violently clash with Chelsea fans who watched their Women's team play on the same night - just a mile apart - with punches thrown outside a tube station with no police in sight

Liverpool fans leaving their side's 1-1 (agg 3-2) victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage clashed with supporters leaving Chelsea's women's Champions League tie on Wednesday evening.

The fracas occured shortly after the final whistle on both games, which simultaneously kicked off at 8pm.

Fans thought to be Reds supporters were videoed appearing to antagonise Chelsea supporters as both sets of supporters made their way to Fulham Broadway station - the Tube stop closest to Stamford Bridge.

Attendees at Liverpool's match had been forced to change their routes from Craven Cottage due to the stadium's closest station Putney Bridge being closed to fans looking to travel from the station between 9.
