Curtis Jones has been named Premier League 2's Player of the Year as the Liverpool youngster capped a remarkable breakthrough season with academy football's top prize.
The 19-year-old has forced his way into Jurgen Klopp's plans with a series of strong outings for the Reds, having scored three goals for the first team this season.
Jones has been touted as one to watch from Liverpool's prestigious academy, having dominated at youth level. He scored nine goals and provided five assists in 14 league games for the Under 23s this season.
He has demonstrated his leadership qualities at youth level, too, captaining the side on a number of occasions.
