Liverpool's rising star Ben Woodburn is under consideration for a shock Wales call-up ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifier against Republic of Ireland.
Chris Coleman will name his squad on Thursday and is giving serious thought to naming the 17-year-old for the first time.
Woodburn, who was born in Chester, also qualifies for England but has played for Wales at four different age groups and would seal his allegiance by making a competitive appearance at senior level.

Woodburn introduced himself to the wider world when scoring in November's EFL Cup win over Leeds and has continued to be kept around the first team by Jurgen Klopp.
