Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian was taken off injured during Wednesday's Champions League tie with Manchester City.
Salah gave Jurgen Klopp's men a deserved lead at Anfield with a well-taken finish, but he was forced off just seven minutes into the second period.
The former Roma forward received treatment for a leg injury before speaking to Klopp as he walked off the pitch to be replaced by Georginio Wijnaldum.
Although it is not yet known how serious Salah's injury is, he seems certain to face a race against time to be fit for Saturday's Merseyside derby against Everton.
