Jurgen Klopp has revealed Liverpool midfielder Fabinho will miss out on this weekend's Merseyside derby clash with Everton due to his muscle problem.
The 27-year-old has often been forced to step in at centre back with the champions hit with a host of injuries - but is a key absentee for the crunch encounter at Anfield.
Boss Klopp was hopeful the Brazil international would have been able to recover from the issue in time to feature, having missed out on the last two fixtures.
However, Fabinho is yet to return to full training, meaning Ozan Kabak - the January signing from Schalke - is likely to keep his place.
