Adam Lallana's season of frustration has taken another backward step after he was ruled out of the FA Cup fourth round tie with West Brom.
The England international thought he had banished his injury problems when making an impressive first start of the campaign at Burnley on New Year's Day, seeing out 87 minutes of what proved to be a crucial 2-1 win.
He started against Everton in the FA Cup third round, then followed up with substitute appearances against Manchester City and Swansea, but Klopp revealed Lallana had suffered a small muscle tear during his weekly press conference.
