Liverpool have announced profits of nearly £40million in their latest financial results, as they benefit from the huge TV rights deal for Premier League clubs.
The Reds revealed their results for the 12 months up to the end of May 2017, in which they say their overall revenue has gone up by £62m, to £364m.
Even with the huge transfer payments now commonplace in the Premier League, as well as the outlay from expanding Anfield, Liverpool still managed to make £39m.
Liverpool say media revenue increased by £30m to £154m with the first year of a three-season Premier League broadcast deal, and commercial revenue grew by £20m to £136m following the club announcing 12 new partnerships including with Malaysia Airlines and Konami.
