Liverpool are plotting a summer transfer move for in-demand RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Jurgen Klopp's side are looking at their options in the forward department and emerging young striker Werner sits among the top candidates on the list.
The Reds have history of dealing with Leipzig, following their summer transfer agreement to secure the signing of Naby Keita - who will arrive at Anfield at the end of the current campaign.
Completing the Keita move was long-drawn however, leaving the Reds unconvinced that a follow-up deal for another top talent may be possible, as report the Independent.
