Liverpool new boy Mohamed Salah joins a list of Chelsea outcasts who have gone on to shine elsewhere with likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Filipe Luis and Juan Cuadrado

Mo Salah's £39million move from Roma to Liverpool has confirmed the Egyptian winger as the latest Chelsea reject to go on to thrive elsewhere.

The Premier League champions sold Salah for £16m in 2015 after he failed to cut the mustard in his brief English top-flight cameo, only to see him shine in Serie A.

But Salah is far from the first to follow a path to success elsewhere after struggling at Chelsea.

Chelsea signed Salah from Basle for £11m in January 2014 but he lasted a little over a year before being shunted out to Fiorentina on loan.
