UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin says he ‘cannot imagine a scenario’ in which Liverpool would not be crowned Premier League champions insisting ‘they will get the title one way or another.’

Football has ground to a shuddering halt due to the coronavirus crisis with the season now suspended indefinitely.

The Premier League are determined to complete the season but will only do so once given the go-ahead by the government.
