Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will audition his three goalkeepers during pre-season to decide which one will start next season as No 1, who will be the understudy – and who will leave Anfield.
Klopp is planning a spending spree in the summer but wants to save his funds for outfield players, meaning Simon Mignolet, £5million German Loris Karius and Danny Ward, currently on loan at Huddersfield, will get their chance in training and on tour before the big August kick off.
The manager, who has chopped and changed his ‘keepers this season, will then take a firm decision who will wear the gloves for the 2017/18 campaign, but one of the trio will miss out altogether and will be allowed to go.
