Liverpool starlet Ryan Kent is hoping to make up for lost time by joining Bristol City on loan, after admitting he wasted half the season at Freiburg.
The young midfielder joined the German club on a shock season-long loan during the summer but it was cut short after he failed to establish himself in Germany.
Kent started just one Bundesliga game during nearly five months at the club and was recalled by Liverpool earlier this month.
But there was no shortage of clubs back in England who were desperate to land the 21-year-old and it was Bristol City who won the race to sign him.
