The Liverpool FC Foundation, the club’s official charity, hosted a series of events for Safer Internet Day (SID) 2017.
The Foundation, working alongside SID tutors, held an education event at Anfield with 25 local schools. Tutors delivered a series of activities to the youngsters to highlight the various dangers online and how to avoid them, as well as the positive use of technology and how to use the internet safely and responsibly.
The club’s mascot Mighty Red joined Liverpool ambassador McAllister to encourage the students in their tasks and celebrate their hard work.
SID representatives also delivered sessions to participants of the LFC Foundation’s Premier League Works employability programme at Anfield and youngsters attending the LFC Foundation’s Premier League Kicks programme in Toxteth.
