Liverpool are steadfast in their stance that star player Mo Salah is not for sale this summer, despite continued audacious efforts by Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad to sign the Egyptian on a big-money deal.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have already sold Fabinho to Al Ittihad this transfer window and the club have held an interest in Salah all summer. They view the 31-year-old forward as a potential crown jewel ahead of their participation in the Club World Cup this winter, which is held in Saudi Arabia.
But Salah, the most popular Arab athlete in the world, would now have to tarnish his Anfield reputation by forcing a move away, after Liverpool have strongly stated they will not play ball with offers of any size.
