March 15, 2017 marks the 125th anniversary since Liverpool FC were formed.
The club's founding father John Houlding famously broke from the board of Everton to form a new club, using Anfield as its home stadium. Plans were put in place to recruit new players and enter the football league and by June 3, 1892, Liverpool Football Club was official.
ESPN FC has used a number of statistics from the club's history to add up to the grand total of 125.

18 - Top flight league titles won
It's a total that has since been surpassed by Manchester United (20), as Liverpool continue to try and end their 27-year title drought but is impressive nonetheless.
