Liverpool hoping Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson win race against time to return for key Leicester clash after both players suffered setbacks during the international break to add further strain to lengthy injury list

Liverpool are hoping that key duo Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson will be available for Sunday's crucial clash with Leicester City to prevent their injury list from getting bigger.

Both players suffered injury worries on international duty last week as Henderson limped out of England's loss to Belgium while Robertson skipped Scotland's defeat in Slovakia.

Henderson withdrew from the England squad on Monday while Robertson's chances of making Sunday's top-of-the-table clash has been boosted by his inclusion in the travelling squad for Scotland's Nations League game with Israel on Wednesday.
