Liverpool are hoping they can lock midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum down to another three years at Anfield, according to The Guardian.
The 29-year-old reportedly wanted assurances he would continue to be a key player at the club before starting further contract discussions.
Liverpool are thought to be offering a contract until 2024 or 2025, with 'wages not expected to be a stumbling block.'

Wijnaldum joined Liverpool from Newcastle in 2016, and has since gone on to be a regular first-team player.
