Jurgen Klopp's side return to Champions League action on Tuesday night against Spartak Moscow and the manager was keen to blow out the cobwebs ahead of their Russian excursion.
The Reds enter the Otkritie Arena off the back of victory at Leicester on Saturday but will need to improve defensively if they are to get their first win of the Champions League group stages.
Klopp oversaw the session at a grey Melwood, where the Liverpool players appeared in high-spirits ahead of the flight to Russia.
