Lazio are still arguing with Liverpool target Stefan de Vrij over his new release clause.
The defender is in contract talks with the Italian club over fresh terms as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Lazio have made the Dutchman an offer of around £1.8m-a-year, which would run until June 2020.
But, according to Il Tempo, De Vrij is stalling talks as he is unhappy with the release clause being written into his deal.
The centre-back wants it to be pencilled in at around £20m, but Lazio are asking for it to be closer to £40m.
