Cagliari have set in-demand midfielder Nicolo Barella's asking price at £45m in an attempt to ward off interest from Liverpool and Juventus.
The midfielder is being tracked by a number of clubs around Europe after a string of impressive performances in Serie A this season.
Barella, 21, has notched three goals from midfield this term and has enhanced his reputation as one of the most promising youngsters in Italian football.
So much so that Juventus and Liverpool have been extensively linked with making moves for him this summer.
However their plans may be scuppered as, according to Calciomercato, Cagliari have set Barella's asking price at £45m.
