Six members of staff spent Friday morning with St Andrews Community Network, helping with the preparation of food parcels and learning more about how North Liverpool Foodbank supports local residents in need.
As part of its dedication to tackle food poverty, LFC’s Red Neighbours programme has been an advocate of the Fans Supporting Foodbanks initiative – which donates to North Liverpool Foodbank - for the past two seasons, facilitating collections at all home games.
Fans Supporting Foodbanks’ brand-new collection van was unveiled outside Anfield ahead of the Cardiff City game, with LFC CEO, Peter Moore, and former Red, Jamie Carragher, among those making food donations.
