Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp managed to laugh off Brighton’s penalty as they beat their rivals 5-1 in the Premier League.
With the Reds already winning 3-0 a light push from Jordan Henderson on Shane Duffy saw referee Graham Scott award a dubious penalty, which Glenn Murray slotted away.
But having seen Simon Mignolet somehow avoid a red card in midweek, which helped them claim a victory against Stoke, the German boss conceded karma had been in effect at the Amex Stadium.
Klopp said: “If you win 5-1 it’s maybe the best day to get a penalty that is not a penalty.
