It was a sad day on Wednesday when news emerged of Ronnie Moran's death at the age of 83.
He is 'quite simply a Liverpool institution' his profile page on the club's official website reads.
Moran played 379 times for the club between 1952 and 1968, scoring 17 goals and winning two Division One titles and an FA Cup. Following news of his passing, a number of fans, clubs and former players paid their respects.
