As soon as it emerged Jonathan Woodgate had joined Liverpool as a scout, football fans couldn't wait to get their jokes in.
The former defender's 18-year career was plagued by injuries and this reputation has followed him into life after playing.
Woodgate, 36, retired in the summer after a second stint with his hometown club Middlesbrough and will now work for Liverpool in Spain where he played for Real Madrid between 2004 and 2006.
It's worth remembering he was a very good defender, but his injury-ravaged spell in LaLiga is not likely to be forgotten by football fans, neither will his debut where he scored an own goal and was sent off.
