Fans and former players have lauded Liverpool's blockbuster signing of Benfica hitman Darwin Nunez, following the Uruguayan's £140,000-a-week move to Anfield on Tuesday.
The initial £64.1 million fee agreed between Liverpool and the Portuguese giants is expected to rise to an overall package in the region of £85 million, which would make Nunez a new club record signing.
The 22-year-old scored 34 times in 41 appearances with Benfica last campaign and is expected to add to the already-explosive firepower at Liverpool's disposal in attack.
