Jurgen Klopp has vowed to take his strongest possible squad to Australia for an end-of-season friendly regardless of which Liverpool players have internationals in June.
Liverpool will travel to Sydney immediately after their final Premier League fixture against Middlesbrough on May 21, for a game which takes place on Wednesday May 24 at the ANZ Stadium against A League team Sydney FC.
The travelling party will include clubs legends Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Steve McManaman and Daniel Agger – all of whom will play some part in the fixture – but Klopp has made it clear that all those first team players who are fit and available will be included on the 21,000 mile round trip.
