Jurgen Klopp has spoken to Adam Lallana after the Liverpool midfielder was sent off for violent contact for the Under 23s in midweek.
The England international was shown a straight red after grabbing Tottenham youngster George Marsh by the neck in a furious reaction to a challenge.
He started the game in Stevenage in a bid to build up match fitness but his evening was cut short in the second-half of the 1-0 Premier League 2 defeat.

Klopp did not defend the 29-year-old's actions but will still consider him for the trip to his former club Southampton on Sunday.
