Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp criticises fixture schedule and aims dig at fitness coach Raymond Verheijen

Jurgen Klopp took aim at the Premier League and fitness coach Raymond Verheijen in his press conference ahead of Liverpool's clash with Manchester United.

The Liverpool boss expressed his unhappiness with changes to the fixture schedule that will see his side play twice in 48 hours over the festive period.

The Merseyside club's home match against Manchester City has been moved back to a 5.30pm kick-off on New Year's Eve ahead of a trip to Sunderland at 3pm on January 2.

"Now I have seen the fixtures and I am not too happy," said Klopp.
