Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool are working towards a new deal for Mohamed Salah to keep their Egyptian talisman at Anfield for many years to come.
Salah last agreed a new contract with Liverpool in 2018, a year after joining from Serie A giants Roma.
Liverpool had initially doubled his wages to more than £100,000 a week — but those terms were drastically improved after he scored a stunning 44 goals in his debut campaign.

The forward is one of the club’s highest earners but Liverpool will need to put together the biggest financial package in their history for one of the world’s best goalscorers, whose contract has entered its final two years.
