Liverpool announce four pre-season games - including two 30-minute mini-matches next week - during their tour of Austria as Jurgen Klopp ditches his trademark glasses for their first session at Alpine training base

Liverpool have confirmed several pre-season fixtures that will take place in and around the team's training camp in Austria.

Jurgen Klopp's side began their preparations for the 2021-2022 season with a training session in Salzburg on Monday afternoon.

The 34-man squad will travel across Austria, playing fixtures against FC Wacker Innsbruck, VfB Stuttgart, FSV Mainz and Hertha BSC, later this month.

Liverpool will face FC Wacker Innsbruck VfB Stuttgart first - playing thirty-minute mini-games behind closed doors on July 20.

They will then head to Greisbergers Betten-Arena, Grodig, on July 23 to face FSV Mainz in front of 3,500 fans.
