Liverpool emerged victorious in what was another frenetic and incident-filled Merseyside Derby at Anfield.

Despite Matthew Pennington scoring on his first ever start for Everton, Philippe Coutinho stole the show as the Reds surged to a 3-1 victory. A late injury to Sadio Mane being the only thing to hamper the afternoon for the red side of Merseyside.
