The two sides will compete against the likes of Hertha Berlin, Hamburg SV and Galatasaray in a tournament that will be hosted in Stemwede.
Ahead of the trip, the club's official charity's inclusion team visited the Academy to meet the U19 squad before competing in a Premier League tournament at The Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion - see more in the photo gallery below.
On the joint trip, Academy director Alex Inglethorpe said: "This is a fantastic, unique opportunity for Liverpool Football Club to be involved in a tournament such as the Lebenshilfe Cup with an Academy side competing as well as an official LFC Foundation inclusion team.
