The new advisory board includes nine sector leaders from a wide range of fields, who will give their time and wealth of expertise generously to provide practical advice and guidance to LFC Foundation and support its continued drive to help even more people.
In addition to advising the foundation’s chief executive, senior team and existing board of trustees, the advisory board will also provide their business acumen and knowledge on policies, procedures, strategic priorities and the key issues and challenges faced by the communities that the foundation supports.
Some members of the newly-established LFC Foundation advisory board include: director of public health for Liverpool, Matt Ashton; HM inspector of constabulary and fire and rescue services, Andy Cooke; Labour MP (Wirral South) and shadow sport and culture minister, Alison McGovern; and head of player engagement at Kick It Out, Troy Townsend.
