After the successful launch of the project in 2017, LFC Foundation’s delivery in local primary schools will now extend beyond the national curriculum for physical education.
Coaching staff will deliver PL Primary Stars classroom sessions, which aim to use the power of the Liverpool FC crest to motivate, reward and inspire pupils to enjoy learning and achieve their potential.
Participating schools will also have access to mini football leagues and tournaments, workshops with local partners - including Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service - and collapsed curriculum days at Anfield Stadium.
LFC Foundation project lead, Colin McCall, said: “Our sessions focus on topics such as building and improving resilience, self-esteem, values, teamwork, diversity and inclusion.
