Eight members of staff joined forces with foodbank volunteers, helping out in a number of areas including hospitality, packing and customer interaction.

As part of its dedication to tackle food poverty, LFC’s Red Neighbours programme has been an advocate of the Fans Supporting Foodbanks initiative throughout the season, holding collections at 18 home games and receiving enough donated food to feed more than 700 people.

All food items collected at Anfield are donated to the North Liverpool Foodbank, which is supported by The Trussell Trust, and made into three-day emergency food parcels for people in crisis in the L4, L5 and L6 areas.
