The service, organised by the club’s Red Neighbours team, has been described as one of the highlights of the year – offering guests the chance to sing out the Christmas carols, enjoy a chat with friends and the chance to make new ones over seasonal mulled wine and mince pies offered by the LFC staff.
Bill Bygroves, club chaplain, hosted the service consisting of communal carol singing – with the choir from Notre Dame Catholic College stealing the show with their rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone to conclude the day’s service.
Bible readings were also heard, reminding those in attendance of the true meaning of Christmas time.
