Leicester City fans travelling to the King Power Stadium on Monday night will be reminded of the fate of their former manager Claudio Ranieri in the most unusual of ways.
A hearse, carrying the message 'RIP Football' in a flower arrangement, was driven around the town ahead of their Premier League tie against Liverpool.
In a stunt organised by betting company Paddy Power, the sombre protest even included an undertaker walking in front of a vehicle that is usually the preserve of funerals.



The Foxes' Thai owners sparked controversy last week after they sacked the Italian less than a year after he guided them to a miraculous 5,000-1 Premier League title win and replaced him with assistant manager Craig Shakespeare.
