Jurgen Klopp has indicated Liverpool’s summer revamp will include a new defender as he insisted all options are open in the transfer market.
Liverpool’s manager will say an emotional farewell to four players – James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita – at Anfield on Saturday, triggering the start of what Klopp has called “a new chapter” for the club.
There will be an influx of new faces when the window opens, with Alexis Mac Allister, Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes prominent contenders to be signed to bolster the midfield.
