Jurgen Klopp 'will be Germany's top target to succeed Julian Nagelsmann as manager if he leaves after the 2026 World Cup', country's football chief reveals

Jurgen Klopp will be targeted by the German national team if he decides to step back into management.

Klopp left his post as manager of Liverpool back in May after a successful nine year spell in charge, having led the club to Champions League and Premier League triumphs.

The 57-year-old has been enjoying his time off, stating he needed a rest as he announced his decision at the start of the year.

Germany are currently managed by Julian Nagelsmann, whose contract runs until the end of the 2026 World Cup - but his is future unclear beyond that point.
