Jurgen Klopp takes his seat in Anfield's revamped dugouts as Liverpool FC train in front of the new main stand

There was a sense of intrigue at Liverpool training as Jurgen Klopp put is squad through their paces in front of Anfield's new main stand.

The Reds were given special dispensation to play all three of their opening Premier League games away from home, while the stand was completed, but will return to Merseyside this weekend to host champions Leicester City.

Anfield's new main stand takes the ground's capacity to 54,742, an increase of more than 8,000 seats, with the squad getting used to their new surrounding on Thursday.

The Reds emerged from the re-modeled tunnel, housed in the new stand, with players looking up at the impressive structure as they walked out ahead of their session.
