Jürgen Klopp is thrilled by the opportunity to nurture Darwin Nunez’s talents, which he already considers to be ideally suited to Liverpool FC.
Uruguay forward Nunez has signed a long-term contract with the Reds to join from Benfica, where he scored 34 goals last season, subject to international clearance and the granting of a work permit.
