Liverpool's Premier League campaign is only one match old yet it already seems inevitable that Alberto Moreno will provide an intriguing sub-plot to Jurgen Klopp's first full season in England.
The Spanish left-back has started 2016-17 under the same cloud of ridicule to which he finished the last. His decision making is, at times, inexplicable. His tackling is often rash and unnecessary, while his sense of positioning must improve drastically. Without question, he was the weakest link in Klopp's side against Arsenal on Sunday.
And yet, with two weeks of the transfer window remaining, the Liverpool manager has surveyed what is available to him and made the decision that what he already has is what is best, for now at least.
