MANCHESTER -- Jurgen Klopp says he will try to help Liverpool ignore the result of Saturday's 5-0 thrashing at Manchester City and that luck was a key factor, but he stressed that his players will be made aware of the mistakes they made at the Etihad Stadium.
Klopp suffered his heaviest defeat as Liverpool manager as was Sadio Mane given a controversial red card late into the first half on Saturday afternoon.
Braces from Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane after Sergio Aguero's opening goal condemned Liverpool to their first loss of the season.
"It was, in a lot of moments, very unlucky for us but I don't think we have to think too much about luck or something like this because we cannot change luck, but we can change performance," Klopp told a news conference.
