Jurgen Klopp expects Liverpool bosses to deny Phillipe Coutinho a move to Barcelona - but will accept any decision that is made

insists he will no have say on Phillipe Coutinho's future but he is expecting his Liverpool bosses to stand firm and block the Brazilian's bid to leave.

The playmaker submitted a transfer request via email on the eve of the new Premier League season after the Reds rejected a £90million bid from Barcelona for his services.

Coutinho sent the email on Frriday only hours after Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) issued a statement saying the 25-year-old would not be sold during the current transfer window.

Even after receiving Coutinho's request, Klopp does not think FSG will alter their stance.
