Jurgen Klopp demanded Premier League action yesterday as he condemned the latest Government restrictions on players travelling back from red-list countries.
Those who return from Argentina, Brazil, Georgia and parts of Africa can now train and play immediately once back in the UK — provided they are fully vaccinated and isolate outside football hours.
They can leave once a day to train or play but otherwise cannot see their families and will be confined to ‘bespoke quarantine facilities’.
Klopp said: ‘The Premier League has to fight for our players.
