On-loan Burnley defender Jon Flanagan has told the Liverpool Echo that he still believes he has a future at Anfield.
Flanagan, 24, joined Burnley on a season-long loan in the summer in a bid to earn regular first-team football, having returned from a 20-month injury absence last season.
The versatile full-back is well aware he has a battle on his hands when he returns to Merseyside for preseason, but is not contemplating a move away from his boyhood club.
"I've got a job to do for Burnley until the end of the season but after that I want to go back and prove what I'm all about at Liverpool," Flanagan said.
