Liverpool defender Joe Gomez put his year-long injury nightmare behind him as he played 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly on Sunday.
The 19-year-old suffered an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in October last year and only returned to training with Jurgen Klopp's squad last month.
As he completes his rehabilitation, Gomez completed the second-half as a strong Liverpool team beat League Two side Accrington Stanley 5-0 at their Melwood training base.
James Milner, Emre Can, Joel Matip, Lucas Leiva, Alberto Moreno and Loris Karius also featured in Sunday's match, alongside a host of youngsters.
