Didi Hamann has slammed Thiago Alcantara again claiming Liverpool aren't good enough to have the midfielder in the team at the moment.

The Reds signed Thiago from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020 for an initial fee of £20million - plus £5m of potential add-ons.

The Spaniard is currently injured and has struggled throughout 2022-23, having previously missed six games at the start of the season with a hamstring issue.

But the former Liverpool midfielder, 49, urged Jurgen Klopp not to recall the 31-year-old when he returns from injury.
