Inter Milan want Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on loan but Reds will only sell striker if £30m fee is met

Inter Milan have outlined an interest in signing Daniel Sturridge from Liverpool to bolster their Champions League hopes - but their preference for a loan deal could hinder any possible move.

Liverpool are open to selling Sturridge if a valuation of £30million is met in the January transfer window but as yet have no interest in letting him depart on temporary terms.

Sturridge, 28, is prepared to leave Anfield in search of regular first-team football in order to prove his fitness to England boss Gareth Southgate ahead of this summer's World Cup in Russia.
